The client is faced with increasingly strict requirements when it comes to the management and maintenance of chemical installations. The service level of management and maintenance has come under pressure in recent years.

Results

The organization has been screened on a financial, strategic and operational level. The drawn up business case contains recommendations in the area of redesigning the organizational structure, so that it better matches the formulated strategic objectives. The financial evaluation provides insight into the contribution of the various shared services [cold and hot spots]

At Operational level, an in-depth analysis has been made of the criticality of the Operation and the OEE performance. In addition, it was examined whether the project management has the adequate resources to fulfill its function. The actual implementation of the various forms of maintenance has been mapped out through process and labor studies. The effectiveness and efficiency of the work were examined. This is related to total work control by the organization. If there are clear operational objectives, this is planned correctly and on time and how follow-up and improvements take place in the organization and in the work. The presented business case was sufficient reason for the Board of Directors to switch to a project in the short term.
